Social Tech Team: Lisa Rosendahl

Lisa RosendahlI am happy to announce that Lisa Rosendahl will be a member of the 2011 HR Florida State Conference & Expo Social Technology Team.

Lisa is a human resource professional with over 18 years of experience who shares her personal and professional experiences to positively impact business results and bring out potential in others.  She is passionate about leadership credibility, demystifying HR and being a voice of reason, which are just a few of the many reasons why I personally follow her.

A former Army officer, Lisa has spent her human resources career in both public and private organizations and with the federal government. She is recognized as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and a Human Capital Strategist (HCS) by the Human Capital Institute.

Named one of the Top 25 Digital Influencers in 2009 and 2010, Lisa is an advocate of social media for personal and professional development.  Most people probably know Lisa from her blog, Simply Lisa, which has been featured in Fistful of Talent’s Top 25 Blogs and Evan Carmichael’s Top 50 Human Resources Blogs to Watch in 2010.  I stumbled across Lisa’s blog a few years ago and have enjoyed her insightful posts which focus on leadership, growth and human resources.

Lisa is also a co-founder and editor of Women of HR, a multiple contributor blog focused on providing a forum wherWomen of HRe women can participate to get information, discuss the issues that impact their lives, and find that sense of community and collaboration that one may be searching for at any given moment.

We are extremely excited to have Lisa joining us this year.  We know that her diverse background in both the public and private sectors will provide a valuable resource to our attendees who come from similar backgrounds.  We are also looking forward to hearing more from the Women of HR and how they are striving to impact our profession.
