Susan Packard

Susan Packard is co-founder and former chief operating officer of HGTV. Packard was the first woman elected to serve on the board of directors of Churchill Downs, Inc. (NASDAC: CHDN), the owner and manager of the Kentucky Derby and other horseracing properties. In 2013, Packard wrote a book entitled New Rules of the Game, a smart business guide that reveals how women can use strategic gamesmanship to succeed in corporate America.
Steve Pemberton

A ward of the state for much of his childhood, Steve Pemberton has made opportunity, access, and equality pillars of his personal and professional life. Pemberton is chief diversity officer and divisional vice president for Walgreens, the first such person to hold that responsibility in the company’s 110-year history. His memoir, A Chance in the World: An Orphan Boy, a Mysterious Past, and How He Found a Place Called Home, chronicles his difficult path through foster care and his determined search for his family.
